Chronic Liberals – About Us

This page is dedicated to the chronically ill and disabled who want and should have a voice in the political process. Many people assume we are not interested, but in fact, I believe it makes us more in tune, because we have so much more at stake!

Due to our circumstances, we have to feel our way through what we can and cannot do. That can be tough, and it changes from day to day, sometimes hour to hour. Brain fog certainly doesn’t help anything. But as a group, we are much stronger. We can do this together, and figure out what we need, what we can do together, and be a force to be reckoned with.

We will educate one another, determine how best to follow what is happening in Congress, figure out what is most important to us, and what we want to concentrate on. What do we ultimately want to achieve? That may change…it may go back and forth with what is happening in DC.

I think it will be nice just to have a community of like-minded people who understand what this life is. But it’s not all about the illness or disability; it’s about the politics, what we can DO about things, even in our different capacity.

Your input is just as important as anyone else’s. Tell us what you think, what you want, what you wish. We are all here to learn and to grow and to help.
